Holly A. F. McCall
Holly has lived in Chappaqua since 2015 with her husband, two sons, and dog and cats. She is passionate about the Town of New Castle, and has dedicated her time and energy to working on behalf of our community (and our country) in many ways.
She was previously the Vice President of the CCSD Board of Education, and served during the height of the pandemic. During her tenure on the school board she was instrumental in helping the school district create policy, procedure and positions to ensure equity and inclusion for all students. Additionally, she worked on the team to ensure our students were back in school safely in September 2020.
On a national front, she is also the cofounder and Treasurer of Up2Us—a national activist organization dedicated to supporting Democratic values across the country. Following the Great Recession, she led an effort partnering with Moms Rising and Change.org to gather 50,000 signatures that ultimately encouraged the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau to amend unfair rules and secure fair access to credit for stay-at-home parents.
She is a member of the Rotary Club of Chappaqua and served as President for two years and now serves as an Area Governor at the District level. Rotary unites people of action to create lasting change in our communities. Among other things, the Rotary Club is responsible for Community Day, an annual celebration of New Castle held at the Chappaqua Train Station every September.
She has been honored to serve on the Town Board since 2023 and hopes to continue to serve, working with an open mind and full transparency to help New Castle move forward into a more beautiful, equitable, and sustainable future.
